Job Description

  • Tax computations of companies, close corporations, trusts and individuals.
  • Vat returns.
  • Payrolls and IRP5s reconciliations.
  • Complete and submission of income tax returns.
  • Completion and submission of provisional tax returns.
  • SARS Efiling.
  • SARS queries/ Objections etc.
  • Other general administrative duties.
  • CIPC/ Bizportal – registrations including UIF and WCA.
  • Company secretarial function – Companies and Close Corporations.
  • Registration and changes to Trust/ NPOs.
  • Plan jobs with reference to year ends and deadlines.
  • Must have the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Willing to take initiative and capable of working independently.
  • Must have good time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure.
  • Manage and maintain excellent client relationships.
  • Take responsibility for a client portfolio.
  • Must be accurate.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree/ Diploma (3 years) qualification in Taxation/ Company Secretarial studies
  • 3 – 5 years experience with a Chartered Accountant Firm.
  • MS Office; Pastel; Sage One; Payroll software/ intercode/ Sage Payroll
  • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English).
  • Must have a driver's licence
