Job Description

  • Drafting & compiling of financial statements
  • Performing and supervising audits
  • Accounting of close corporations, trusts and companies
  • Year-end adjusting journals
  • General ledger reconciliations
  • Tax computations of companies, close corporations, trusts and individuals.
  • Vat returns.
  • Payrolls and IRP5s reconciliations.
  • Complete and submission of income tax returns
  • SARS Efiling
  • Other general administrative duties
  • Plan jobs with reference to year ends and deadlines
  • Must have the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Must also be willing to take initiative and capable of working independently
  • Must have good time management and problem-solving skill
  • Must have strong communication and presentation skills
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure
  • Manage and maintain excellent client relationships
  • Take responsibility for a client portfolio
  • Must be accurate

Minimum Requirements

  • B.Com or BCompt degree in Financial Accounting.
  • 2 – 3 years experience (excluding articles)
  • Completed SAICA articles with a Chartered Accountant Firm or having SAIPA
  • MS Office; Caseware, Pastel, Sage One, Xero
  • Payroll software/ intercode.
  • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
  • Must have a drivers licence.
