Job Description

  • Responsible to develop and analyse complex business cases, internal growth and profitable opportunities while evaluation external development opportunities in the area of mergers and acquisitions
  • Analyse market and internal data to identify trends, new business opportunities as well as developing strategic option based on the insights synthesised from the data analysed
  • Develop and identify key business implications and recommendations
  • Lead and evaluate business model development including coordination cross-functional engineering, product marketing, analytics, sales and corporate team during the process
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to manage day-today execution of investments priorities
  • Create specification for report and analytics based on business needs and data elements
  • Contribute to improving the department’s internal systems, processes and tools particularly as they enhance the vision of strategy development, analytics and/innovation
  • Provide and deliver strategic data analysis, insights and presentation to executive management and functional teams to make critical business and investment decisions
  • Oversee the process of tracking the overall performance of the department within the scope of the established deliverables
  • Ensure adherence to the operational budgets for the department
  • Motivate, develop and train employees within the department
  • Oversee and develop the group standard and processes as far as corporate development is concerned.

Minimum Requirements

  • MBA, Finance or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Relevant certification in any of the following; CFA, PMP, PRINCE II
  • Minimum of 12 years with 4 years occupying a similar position in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or strategy consulting.
  • Extensive knowledge of and ability to manage statistical analysis and financial modelling (incl. VBA).
  • Excellent analytical thinking, and strong financial modelling skills
  • Experience developing compelling business cases and presentations
  • Sound understanding of international accounting and taxation principles.
