Job Description

  • Prepare and compile information material related to resource and development projects.
  • Manage and coordinate public participation processes.
  • Facilitate public and authorities meetings.
  • Prepare issues-response reports.
  • Provide social input into the scoping and Environmental Impact Assessment processes.
  • Provide support and guidance for more junior members of the Stakeholder Engagement department.
  • Compile and review documentation.
  • Direct and guide fieldworker teams and translators where necessary.
  • Working in close collaboration with specialists from other disciplines.
  • Liaise with clients and authorities.
  • Compile and write reports for submission to the client and necessary authorities.
  • Carry out business development activities relating to the Stakeholder Engagement Department.
  • Utilise good minute taking skills
  • Arrange and facilitate public and authorities participation meetings
  • Project manage large, interdisciplinary projects
  • Compile scientific reports and information material

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, social sciences, Environmental Science/ Environmental Management or a related field
  • 8+ years’ experience, preferably within an environmental consultancy.
  • A demonstrated knowledge of public participation legislation and processes
  • Project management of large, interdisciplinary projects
