  • In reporting to the Region Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing strategies and managing processes to ensure that these are in line with regional business plans and policies. In working closely with the Regional Business Team, Branch Managers and key customers and contractors one will be responsible for achieving or exceeding the budgeted contribution while ensuring cost and quality efficiency.

Job Description

  • Formulate and monitor a strategy for the company and ensure it is inline with guidelines given by the Regional Board and budget
  • Implement and monitor Marketing and Sales strategies and ensure it is inline with set out standards
  • Organisational and People Management
  • Contract Management
  • Financial Management - Execute group consolidation statements, reporting to the Board
  • and oversee costs within the Financial guidelines of the company
  • Project Management
  • Develop and monitor HR policies for the local company
  • Identify key talent and plans effective succession, promote a good employee relations and ensuring legislation
  • Approve recruitment of senior managers in the Region
  • Ensure implementation and monitoring of a Sales and Marketing strategy for the local company, or sub region, in line with the set Regional standards.
  • Ensure monitoring of local market and competitor intelligence
  • Ensure all aspects of Customer Service, engineering (solutions), safety, project management, account management provide a high level of customer service and satisfaction
  • Guarantee health and safety compliance as well as environmental legislation
  • Guarantee operations run smoothly and adhere to safety, quality and regulatory standards
  • Implement financial strategies and ensure alignment with regional guidelines and local regulations
  • Signal and follow up on issues and activities relevant for the local business, through lobbying and stakeholder influencing
  • Implement and monitor IT policies in line with the strategy and IT guidelines set by Holdings
  • Represent the Country's interest through participation in Trade Associations, Employer Federations, and government bodies

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant Bachelor Degree
  • 15 years relevant experience within an operational capacity
  • Minimum of 5 years experience at senior management level
  • Valid driver's license
