Job Description

  • Ensure usability by configuring and installing the software and hardware components
  • Maintain the software and hardware for all WANs, LANs, emails, telecoms and internet connectivity
  • Ensure that all electrical safety standards are met at all times
  • Restore or replace faulty or damaged hardware
  • Safeguard the privacy and security networks on computer systems
  • Ensure security by upgrading and installing anti-virus software and upgrading systems to enable all computers to have compatible software
  • Test new hardware and software
  • Provide tech support and be the first in line to contact when reporting an error
  • Daily backup operations
  • Maintain all technical documentation
  • Manage Service Level Agreements with IT related suppliers
  • Ensure company and group IT procedures and guidelines are aligned

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or similar
  • 2 years exp in computer networks and systems maintenance
  • Proficient in software installation and database programming
  • A+, Linux+ or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation advantageous.
  • SAP exp. Will be advantageous
  • Valid driver's license
