Minimum requirements
- National Diploma OR Degree in Nursing (B CUR/B.Sc.Nursing)
- National Qualification in Occupational Health – SANS R212 (Advanced Qualification)
- Primary Health Care Qualification
- Audiometric Certificate and Instruction 171
- Spirometric Certificate – Sans 451
- Dispensing License
- Level 4 ABET Maths and Communication
- Current Registration - SANC & SASOHN
- 5 years practical experience in managing an occupational health clinic in the mining/manufacturing sector
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Job Specification
To provide quality nursing care as laid down by SANC
Good knowledge of legislation applicable to clinic and work environment
Administer the Occupational Health Management System by ensuring compliance with external/internal, legal occupational health requirements standards through a motivated workforce
Safety, Health, and Environment Training, Inspections, and Audits
Facilitation of Risk Assessments and Incident Investigations
Manage security activities
Care and use of all medical equipment
Communication of management information to all role players and employees (Internal and External)
Counseling skills
Good interpersonal relations
Commissioner of oaths certificate
Computer literate
