Plant Manager
Salary Negotiable depending on experience

Minimum Requirements:
B.Eng Degree OR B.Tech Degree OR National Higher Diploma in Engineering / Production
MUST BE A BOTSWANA CITIZEN
Experience in managing maintenance and production teams is essential
The relevant Legal Certificate of Competence (OHS or MHS)
Must have leadership experience in mining and manufacturing of raw materials

Job Specifications:
Consistently produce Quality and the required quantity products in a cost effective way through a motivated workforce
Manage the maintenance function to ensure care of Assets, Plant and Equipment
Ensure compliance to relevant legal requirements and ensure safe operation of plant and equipment
Organisational performance experience and in depth understanding of individual performance improvement systems
Responsible for optimising all production and maintenance activities, such as:
Achieved product Availability, Quality and Consistency
Minimized cost quality complaints
Satisfied internal and external customers
Maximized labour availability and minimise risk
Achieve overall reliability targets
Achieve specific plant performance
Achieve Energy consumption
Optimise refractory life
Achieve competence levels
Implemented performance assessments
Reduce operating costs
Generate value adding initiatives
Optimal cost and Capex planning, execution and control
Highly motivated maintenance team through performance management, development and training
Perform route cause analysis and problem solving
Safe working environment and compliance to all legal requirements
Continued improvement and enforcement of Engineering Standards
Preference will be given to candidates that have experience in pneumatic transport systems, ball mills, packer and palletisers
