Minimum Requirements
- O’ Level
- National Craft Certificate (NCC)
- 10 years experience in manufacturing process with at least 5 years in management position
Job Specification
Ensuring the efficient running of the processing department through planning and scheduling
Develop and implement specific plant policies and procedures
Research and develop new products
Compile weekly reports on production
Stock and Assets Control including managing scarce raw materials
Co-ordinate inventory requirements, purchasing and turnover goals
Ensure health and safety standards are in place and adhered to
Quality Control on finished products
Maintenance of all production machinery
Monitors plant output, cuts/yield and scrap to ensure efficient resource utilization
Manage the performance, growth and development of subordinates
Ability to work with other internal departments and ensure good relations with external customers, suppliers, contractors etc
Must be computer literate, analytical and be able to work under pressure
