Salary R600K – R750K CTC incl. benefits
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in marketing
- Min of 8-10 years relevant experience within a manufacturing environment as a marketing manager or in the marketing field.
- Previous management experience
- Connections withing the African Market advantageous
The Marketing Manager must:
- Understand the current business climate and issues facing the industry while anticipating and planning for the future of the industry
- Developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies
- Promotes good company image and communicate with customers
- Conduct regular performance reviews and negotiate performance contracts
- Problem resolution and staff management
- Leading, supervising, motivating and training sales team
- Investigated and resolved quality and service complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Act as primary liaison between the company, internal customers, and external stakeholders
- Responsible for overall supplier relationship management
- Enforcement of Quality Assurance and Quality Control in all account management and service delivery activities
- Drive the group’s/industry’s top-line goals for billings growth, prospective clients, and value added percentage
- Create and distribute value-added content, further enhancing Clients reputation within the industry
- Assist office group leaders and office marketing coordinators/managers in developing and achieving their office-specific goals
- Coach office group leaders in under-performing offices to improve their office industry results
- Innovate and improve processes
- Managing marketing budget through effective contract negotiations
- Product and brand positioning
- Sales forecasting
- Develop marketing campaigns to increase visibility and determine advertising placement
- Define and review target market to identify new business opportunities
- Competitor analysis and marketing research

As Marketing Manager you will
- Conduct regular market assessments to quantify opportunities and uncover new opportunities
- Conduct annual billing analysis, primary and/or secondary research to prepare for annual planning cycle
- Assist with the creation of a Firm-wide industry group marketing plan and budget to achieve group’s goals
- Build/strengthen relationships with trade association and tradeshow leaders as well as editors, publishers
- Pursue and secure industry-relevant speaking engagements for subject matter experts
