Mid-level professional capable of fulfilling the project accounting and cost reporting requirements of multiple large-sized projects or singular large project, including day-to-day interface with project management, client, and vendor personnel.

Must come from a Manufacturing / Building and Construction / Mining industry.

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
• Must have accounting experience in a Manufacturing, Building and Construction OR Mining industry
  
• Need knowledge of Contract Price Adjustment (CPA)

Job Specification:

• Supplier Invoices - Match up order to suppliers invoice, check quantities, prices and payments made
• Client Invoices - Verify ROE and CPA loaded on system and that they are being claimed
• Invoice tracking and updating
• PCM - Assist with starting a contract on PCM - Cost Date Allocation, Income Allocations, Start Plan, Base Line, Cash flows, etc. Monthly maintenance and updating thereof
• Debtors/Retention Debtors - Update retention debtor's schedule, follow up outstanding invoices, amend retention due dates
• Contract Financial Activity Schedule/Order Book - Update on a regular basis with tenders submitted
• Tender meetings
• Performance/Surety Bonds - Assist with issuing and return of bonds, raising invoices
• Assist with foreign procurement and do foreign payments
• Calculate INNS, ICSA and IPPN
• Contract Control - Check if VO’s have been loaded; Assist with financially closing of a project
• Liaising with project managers on project costs
• Monthly Accounts - Explanation of Variances - Actual vs. Budget
• Verification of Actual vs. Budget, Project Income Statements, Business Unit Income Statement
• IPAS - Maintenance of workflows
• Imprest Accounts/Expense Sheets - Check and sign off expense sheets and handover for payment
• Calculating sales tax on invoices
• Monthly cost reports and submitting to relevant departments
• Process journals and cashbook
• Purchase ledger payments
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Internal Cost Transfers
• Statutory reports, accounts reports, month end reports
• Income and expenditure reports for project managers
• Timesheets
