Minimum Requirements
- T4 mechanical engineering diploma
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience within the mining industry
- Additional sales experience in waste water and water treatment markets would be advantageous
- Sales and Technical product training
- Must have a valid drivers license
Job Specification
Plan and execute sales plans
Manage and control customer data base, quotations, sales and lost sales
Manage and control contractual obligations relating to sales
Ensure excellent customer service
Secure orders as per budgeted forecasts
Manage own operating costs in line with budgeted costs
Control delivery times of goods ordered by customers
Assist administration in ensuring customers pay their accounts to the company
Manage dealers as designated by the General Manager
Perform technical training with customers and dealer network
Prepare and submit timeous and accurate weekly and monthly sales reports to the General Manager
Prepare and submit annual sales budgets for incorporation in company sales forecasts
Utilize CRM software “ACT“
Work closely with marketing to contribute to the strategic business plan
Numerically proficient
